Oryoki implies “just enough” in the Zen monastic tradition from which it evolved. Simply put, it is a way of eating, serving, and cleaning up that supports mindful awareness and insight.

We enjoyed collaborating with the Soji Sangha in Lansdowne to organize a three-hour Oryoki Workshop & Meal in May 2023. The workshop was facilitated by two experienced student members of the Soji Sangha. Visit our Facebook page for additional photos from this event!
